Needless to day, there’s quite a bit going on lately.

As I look to see what is at the root of it all, I notice that there are quite a few planets within aspect of each other.

Mercury, Mars, Chiron, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune are all in aspect within 3 degrees of each other right now (Mercury just coming into the mix within the last 24 hours) in sequential signs (Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces). This is a rather bizarre combination, as most of these are slower-moving planets – Chiron, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune have been and are going to be in aspect with each other for a bit longer (with Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in Pisces and Chiron and Neptune conjunct in Aquarius), setting the stage for many of the odd and unexpected occurrences we’ve been experiencing in the last few days and weeks.

Much of this can be explained by simply looking at what the involved planetary bodies and astrological signs represent (abbreviated list):

Jupiter and Sagittarius = growth and expansion, adventure, freedom, tendency to exaggeration (stretch the Truth)

Neptune and Pisces = idealism, romanticism, imagination, tendency to fantasy and delusion (creative liberty, alternate reality)

Uranus and Aquarius = groups, organizations, society, humanity at large, unexpected occurrences, science and technology, tendency to publicity, revelation, and revolution (social awareness, mass consciousness)

Mars = action, assertion, tendency to anger and aggression (advocate, warrior)

Chiron = healing, practical application, self-based service, tendency to project self-needs onto others (usually healing or serving others in ways in by which we could be serving and healing ourselves)

Capricorn = ambition, goal-orientation, accomplishment, tendency to focus on public image, professional standing, and/or social status (achievement, one-upmanship)

Mercury = mind (thought, knowledge), communication, information, tendency to gather and share information (media, gossip)

Another thing to factor in is that we are in a numerological universal 4 year, and as noted last week, this is a time of establishing solid and stable foundations for what we conceived and initiated in our universal 1 year (2008). Beliefs, behaviors, attitudes, courses of action – all of those things that began then are now trying to make themselves solid and secure. Of course, this means that the things that are perceived (or perceive themselves) to be in conflict with each other are apt to try to push each other out of the way (or out of existence) rather than finding ways to co-exist. And those involved are being called to take responsibility and/or to be held accountable for their positions and views. We can see this occurring on every level – individuals, groups, organizations, businesses, governments, and more.

However, as in true metaphysical fashion, these elements are coming together in a variety of ways:

  • The impact of scientific and technological advancements on nature (all non-human species, the environment, and the evolution of the planet).
  • The impact of our divisive political perspectives and the cultural climate those polarities have produced.
  • The impact of language and the words or phrases chosen used to communicate our views, (and the impact of others taking sound bites out of context and using them to inspire serious expressions of anger and/or righteousness).
  • The impact of our assumptions of what is possible and what is not, in a variety of areas and aspects of life.
  • The impact of our fixation-obsession with fame and celebrity (or infamy when the attention we seek won’t come to us in a positive and prosperous way).
  • The impact of large-scale efforts to serve and heal others before serving and healing ourselves.
  • The impact of individual’s public communications on the collective/social mindset and perspective.
  • The impact of the collective desire for change, yet the collective frustration in how to bring it about resulting in individuals taking matters into their own hands.
  • The impact of teamwork and collective efforts for the purposes of both growth and expansion as well as destruction and demise.

That said, in the short term with Mercury now in the mix for the next few days, expect to see/read a lot of communication in response to and in the wake of these unusual events – mostly people trying to position themselves for their next strategic moves to establish themselves or their organizations in whatever they are up to. Don’t be fooled by the hype – there’s a whole lot of one-upmanship and “looking good” going on as people try to backpedal earlier statements and attitudes that have come to yield unsavory social results, and there are also people using the recent events to advance their own images or agendas in the face of (and in contrast to) those back-pedaling.  The Truth is in the space between, and it is being revealed (or maybe exposed) by those who are attempting to make themselves right and good while attempting to make others wrong and bad, despite the truths emerging from these recent events.

The interesting thing is that because we are in a 4 year, and the coming 5 year will shake out whatever is not true and in integrity, we can take peace in knowing that everything will right itself over the next 23 months or so. The not-so-good news is that the said ‘righting’ may not be an entirely peaceful process in itself, and not all of us will perceive the outcomes as being ‘right’. Each and all of us may find ourselves questioning what we know to be true or right, and this will be an easier process for some of us than others. It depends on how the general metaphysical combinations affect an individual’s metaphysical makeup. It’s why someone would shoot a gun rather than stage a peaceful protest, or why one football team would win a game rather than another. It affects all of us in a general way, yet each of us very personally and individually as well.

There may some of you who ask, “Can astrology and/or numerology predict these events?” And the answer is both ‘yes’ and ‘no’. The answer is ‘yes’ in that astrologers can see the potential for a significant event (or a series of them), yet ‘no’ in that because each and every one of us has free will, so we can never really know exactly how any significant events are really going to occur detail for detail. Some people are gifted with precognition or foresight in addition to their astrological and/or numerological interpretive abilities and skills, so they may have a better time of predicting than others. But for the most part, astrology is a rather retrospective science, with prediction possible, but not necessarily accurate for the exact details of an upcoming event. And numerology is more prediction-friendly, but also is not great with the detail for detail. Ultimately, individual free will always reigns supreme when it comes to human behavior and the events that ensue.

And as free will reigns, we get to experience and respond to the impact of each and all of our individual and collective choices as part of our journeys of life. May we all be present to and aware in the adventures we are living and the adventures to come.

Until next week,

~ Light, Love, and Blessings,

Grace
