Well, Sunday came and went…and now here is the blog post for the week. I acknowledge that it’s late, and I apologize for the delay. Hope it’s worth the wait.
I admit it – I wasn’t really up for writing this week. It’s been a week full of major changes for me, and I just really haven’t had the energy for writing much of late.
Yet, it was in the midst of that thought I realized that that’s exactly what I get to write about this week – the changes and the impact of the changes I’ve been experiencing.
As much as I may give insights and advice to you about how to handle and deal with the energies of the astrology and numerology around and involving us, I often forget that I am also affected by that energy. It’s easy to be objective when you remove yourself from the equation. But when it’s your own life, sometimes it’s difficult to admit it when that which you speak of so objectively becomes a subjective matter in your own life.
I have been speaking to the upcoming and now present changes occurring for all of us as we enter the (numerologically speaking) Universal 5 month of October 2011. 5 energy is an energy of variety and change. Now those changes are taking hold.
The changes that are occurring may seem to have no good reason for being made. In fact, some of them may simply be changing for change’s sake, for the opportunity to experience something new and different. They may be happening to give you a new perspective about certain areas and aspects of your life.
Yet, with the influence of Libra – the sign that brings the initiation of the Autumnal season (you know leaves beginning to change color and fall from their trees, etc.), the changes probably aren’t for the heck of it. They’re likely occurring because you feel (or someone around you feels) that it is necessary to balance the scales of equality or justice in a matter. Even if you aren’t fully aware of the reason for it consciously, your subconscious mind is probably committed to establishing balance or fairness or equality in some area of your life.
Right now, I am experiencing the effects of Libra full force in my 2nd and 3rd houses where Libra is placed in my personal chart. I am being confronted by my perceptions of financial, material, and physical resources and how they affect my relationships with others. I realize that many of the relationships in my life have ties to my practical approach to money and stuff. I’m also realizing that I don’t easily enter relationships or partnerships with others because I am constantly aware of and looking at what I can bring to the table financially, materially, and/or physically to have my contribution to the partnership be as equal, practical, and/or as valuable as possible. I notice that when I don’t feel or think that I am being or able to be a true and equal partner in something, I’ll tend to avoid it and/or leave it, or sometimes confront the imbalance through direct communication with the other person. I am doing this to the point that in the relationships in my life that I am not experiencing as equal, fair, or balanced, I am now either ending them or creating new boundaries within them.
This has brought about some major changes in my life – a new and dependable car, moving out of an emotionally and psychologically toxic living situation, completing 8 weeks of training and settling into a new routine in my day job, and considering the beginnings of new relationship(s) of all kinds – including the possibility of romance. It’s been a couple of weeks full of changes that have rocked my world. I deeply underestimated the impact these changes would on me. ..and yet they’ve had me completely out of my comfort zone and moving full force into a new experience of my life that I do want…yet didn’t expect to have come the way it is coming.
So I invite each of you to look at the changes in your life, especially in your relationships to the areas and aspects of your life that are not people. Pay attention to how you really think and/or feel about those aspects which affect your relationships and partnerships with others. Whether those aspects are financial, material, and physical (like mine), or whether they are spiritual or philanthropic, educational-informational-intellectual, emotional, etc. Look at your relationships to these areas of your life to see what affects your relationships most and what may be initiating the changes you are making in your life.
