As stated in the last posting, quite a bit has been happening astrologically, so let’s discuss another major shift in the astrological energy that has occurred in the past week to get caught up.
In addition to the New Moon in Aquarius on January 22nd, there was also the movement into retrograde motion for Mars in Virgo on January 23rd.
Mars retrograde is what I like to call a “do-over” energy. It takes you back into things you’ve done before, back over ground you’ve already tread, seemingly to give you another chance to experience, do, or see what you may have missed the first time around. Mars Retrograde is all about second chances.
Retrograde energy is also introspective, so in most cases, this period of time between now and April 14th will be time for you to reconsider your actions and steps over the last few months.
- What have you not attended to recently that needs to be attended to or addressed?
- What have you missed or felt you missed out on recently?
- What do you now have a chance to include in your life that you didn’t choose to bring in before?
- What do you now have a chance to let go of in your life that you did not release before?
Considering Mars is in the sign of Virgo, you may want to keep in mind that Virgo is the sign of practical, everyday maters. It is also about making your day-to-day life more efficient and effective.
- What actions can you take to be more effective or productive in certain areas of your life?
- What actions can be taken to have particular activities and behaviors/habits incorporated into the day-to-day of your life?
- Which activities or behaviors/habits in your life serve a practical and effective purpose for your life and are worth keeping around…and which ones do not serve a purpose any longer and need to be released from your life?
Take this time to seek out the “second chances” in your life. Reflect upon your recent opportunities, choices and actions – see if there are any you would like to ‘take back’ or have another chance with. Look to see where you can make choices and take actions this time around that eluded you the first time they came about. Look for the opportunities as they come forth to choose and/or act differently. Be courageous and confident and go after what you want. Now is the time!
