This coming Wednesday, it’s 12.12.12. This is the last time we will see “triple repeating digits” in an abbreviated date until 01 January 2101. So, 12 December 2012 is a special day in that regard.
Of course, 12.12 is always a somewhat special day for me as it’s my personal birthday. And on this 12.12.12, it is a milestone birthday as well.
But beyond some fun numeric repetition and my own self-importance, the number 12 holds all kinds of significance –in math, religion/mythology, and spirituality. Mathematically, it is defined as super-factorial, abundant, and sublime (all technically speaking, but those are some nice adjectives in a literal sense as well!) In fact, there’s so much information that I’ve decided to put the link to Wikipedia right… here …for you to go and read all about it if you’d like.
But back to this “special” date specifically…if you use the abbreviated version of the date to keep the novelty in play, the date would be a 9 day. However, to be technically correct in using the full date of 12.12.2012, this coming Wednesday will be a Universal 11/2 day.
11/2 is a day of collective inspiration. 11 is the vibration of the inspirational humanitarian, and it celebrates individuals bringing their unique talents to a team or group to make distinctive contributions to a larger whole. It is an inspired gateway to the fulfillment of the potential of humanity. It is also an opportunity for each of us and all of us to shine our Light for a purpose greater than ourselves.
Its base value is 2, which is the number of the partner. It is a support energy, and it does not like to do things unless it has a partner or companion to support or to act in tandem with. This base energy reinforces the fact that this is not a journey to be traveled alone.
However, with the 11 presence, this support energy of the 2 is taken to another level – a larger scale. Where 2 seeks one-on-one partnership, 11 seeks partnership with a group or team or larger collective. The idea that “it takes a village” is embodied in the 11 vibration.
It is also important to note that the 11 vibration occurs twice in the month of December 2012 – on the 12th (the subject of this article -11/2), and on the 21st (the day “the Great Transformation” is to occur – 11/2). Both of these days bring the inspiration quality necessary for us to embrace “The Great Transformation” at hand.
That said, even though it has really cool repeating numbers, 12.12.12 isn’t THE ‘big day’. So how is it really significant?
Please remember that it is an 11/2 day. Therefore, any activities that benefit larger, humanitarian causes are likely to be highly successful on this day. Also, anything that involves group participation or teamwork (with more than two people) could be a positive experience as well. The bigger the group and the more humanitarian the intention, the better.
Let’s also look at the astrology:
- Most prominent, Venus is conjunct North Node in Scorpio exactly on this day (25°).
- Juno in Sagittarius is in applying opposition to Ceres Retrograde in Gemini this day (27-28°).
- Saturn in Scorpio is in applying trine to Chiron in Pisces (5-7°)
- Mercury in Sagittarius is in applying trine to Uranus in Aries (1-4°).
These four aspects combine to say: Relationships end or are resurrected in order to acknowledge an exchange of important information and wisdom. There can be significant growth and expansion of the parties involved as result of that exchange. This growth helps each and all of us recognize how we are interconnected with each other, the world, and the Universe – that there is a Universal Truth that we are all a part of. As we embrace these revelations of Truth, we need to be aware of the surprises and unexpected actions/reactions that come forth in the wake of these transformative changes. These events occur to help us learn that we are more adaptable and flexible than we may believe. And we will definitely need to be adaptable – there are plenty more significant changes coming our way in the next few weeks, months, and years.
So on this day of 12.12.12, be especially aware of your personal relationships and what they may be revealing about your relationship with humanity and what it is revealing to you about the path you have chosen and the direction you are moving in your own individual life. You may be surprised to learn how much you have grown as a person, and you may be more surprised by where you seem to be headed on your life’s path in a “bigger picture” context. Make sure that wherever you are headed, it’s in alignment with Truth – both your truth and Universal Truth.
When we take all of that into consideration, those mathematical descriptions of “super-factorial”, “abundant”, and “sublime” suddenly seem pretty appropriate.
