The 2013 Taurus Sun-Scorpio Moon Full Moon phase arrives on Thursday, April 25th at 1:07p PDT, and plenty of intensity comes with this one.
For starters, the Taurus Sun (along with Venus and Mars also in Taurus) have brought us a much-needed dose of earthly and worldly reality over the last couple of weeks. After not being clear about where we stand or what we are creating or moving toward in regard to our individual and collective lifestyles, we now begin to see some tangible signs of progression. The question is – what have we been progressing toward? Under the Full Moon in Scorpio, when we look at our worldly-earthly circumstances (especially our lifestyle resources – financial-material-physical) and consider the path we are traveling (or intending to travel), how do we each and collectively really feel about what we are actually bringing forth and progressing?
Some of you may be finding that you are making leaps and bounds forward on your intended paths and may be very happy with the progress you now recognize that you’ve been making. Others of you may be finding that you aren’t on the paths you thought you were or that you aren’t making as much progress as you hoped. As where you stand begins to materialize into tangible or experiential form, you may find that you are right on course and recognize opportunities to move full steam ahead…or you may find that a major course correction is needed . When the reality of your earthly lifestyle circumstances (Taurus) is reflected back to you through your deepest emotional depths (Scorpio), you may get confirmation of your direction or you may get inspiration for change.
This 2013 Full Moon in Scorpio comes with a couple special friends. The first is Saturn in Scorpio (at 8 Scorpio – retrograde), which will be within conjunction orb with the Moon (at 6 Scorpio), placing both entities opposite the Taurus Sun. This is a strong indicator that what you see and experience during this Full Moon phase could bring forth major transformation on personal/individual and collective levels – transformation that may be very focused on the financial-material-physical resources and structures in your life or lifestyle, and how they affect you emotionally and spiritually. These changes won’t be for the faint of heart – these revelations and realizations could bring profound transformation(s) which could really alter the course of your life.
This Full Moon-Saturn conjunction in Scorpio may make it one of those times when it’s ‘good change’ that doesn’t feel good while it’s happening, especially because it probably affects an area of your life that has been managed in a very particular way for a very long time. However, you will probably be able to look back on this change later in your life and be very glad that it happened.
This is also a Full Moon phase in which everything that needs to change may not be changed right away, but whatever does need to be changed right now will be. This is because this Full Moon in Scorpio doesn’t only conjunct Saturn – it also includes a Partial Lunar Eclipse.
During the Partial Lunar Eclipse, the Earth will partially obstruct the reflection of the Sun’s Light onto the Moon. This obstruction could represent the practical, day-to-day routine of your life getting in the way of your ability to see all of what is transforming or needs to be transformed in your life. Because many of us have been conditioned to “keep ours head down and push forward”, take a moment to realize how your “daily grind” could actually be your biggest distraction from the life you are meant to be living! During this Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio conjunct Saturn, you may want to pause for a moment from your daily routine, take a good look at the lifestyle you are living, and consider what your life could be if you took the actions and made the progress that you really want to make. Take time to appreciate and be thankful for all you have…and to make a choice to transform your life if you are inspired to do so by what you take in.
That said, not all of what is transforming or needs to be transformed will be hidden. Because of this partial eclipse, you may recognize that you are seeing, hearing, or feeling only and exactly what you need to at this time in order to make some profound choices for your life. This Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse conjunct Saturn in Scorpio may be only the beginning of a major overhaul of your lifestyle starting with the specific areas of your chart that Taurus and Scorpio reside in and rule. This could be the end of an old and well-conditioned way of living, and the catalyst for a completely new life and lifestyle for you.
