Before I get to the meat & potatoes of this post, I want to take a moment to acknowledge that I haven’t been posting on the blog much recently. The reality is that those of us who write these blogs, tweets, and such – we are as human as you are. The energies of the astrological & numerological transits and events affect us, too…and our lives are ebbing and flowing and changing as much as yours are. We understand what you’re going through because we’re going through it, too.
On a personal note, I could attempt to pretend as if these transits and events don’t affect me at all…but I must say that the last few weeks have been quite a ride for me, and it’s resulted in some “delays” in sharing information with you in my usual manner.
At first I was upset about this, but then I realized that these “delays” give me (and you) a chance to do something that we don’t always get to do in this work – an opportunity to reflect. Many practitioners and followers of astrology and numerology get so caught up in what’s coming next that we forget to be aware of what is happening now or even what we’ve just gone through.
To that point, this post is intended to be a “week in review” for the first days of Spring 2014 since the Equinox. I hope you can use this information to reflect upon the last few days and see how the astrological transits have played out in your life’s journey. And yes – I’d love to hear your feedback via the post comments or by email.

Since late January 2014, we have been under the influence of a Cardinal T-Square of Jupiter in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn square Uranus in Aries – the growth and expansion of loving and familiar connections balancing (or being enabled by) the crumbling and clearing of standards, structures, and systems that no longer serve us well, and both ends of the balance are challenged by the desire for individual expression/independence.
This configuration is made even more dynamic by the fact that since 22 March, Juno has been in conjunction with Uranus in Aries at the pivot of the T-Square, setting the intention for and/or bringing forth an extremely strong commitment to this individuality/independence ideal. This Juno-conjuncted T-Square was at its peak on 26 March, and Juno moves out its place in the T-Square configuration (no longer aspecting all 3 points) early on 30 March, only to be replaced by the Aries Sun itself conjuncting Uranus in Aries. The Sun enters orb with all 3 points of the T-Square later in the day on 30 March to begin highlighting the desire for freedom through unique self-expression, individuality, and/or independence, likely by revealing truths that have been hidden. The Sun makes its dynamic presence felt in the T-Square from 30 March through 4 April.
Ceres Rx re-entered Libra at 7:23a PDT on Saturday 22 March 2014. Your inward focus on your personal values and resources has shifted back to their effect on your partnerships and how your partnerships are affected by your values & resources. Because Ceres’ focus is on whether or not you have the physical-material-financial resources to establish and maintain the lifestyle that makes you feel taken care of, as it moves back into Libra, you will be revisiting your relationships/partnerships to assess if they are helping or hurting your ability to take care of yourself. Due to the retrograde, this is an introspective journey for the time being, meaning that external experiences are being assessed and dealt with from the outside-in rather than from the inside-out. Most of your actions during this time seem to be fairly low-key and are likely responsive to what you are recognizing about yourself through your relationships with others.
Also on Saturday 22 March, Mercury conjuncted Neptune in Pisces at 1:16p PDT – You may have noticed that it was a good time to share your visions with others who may be able to help you make them real. It was also a good time for some creative writing or speaking, and any discussions or brainstorming sessions may have been very fruitful during this time frame, lasting approx. 21-24 March.
Mercury in Pisces continued its speedy journey forward, making trine aspect with Jupiter in Cancer at 6:11a PDT on Wednesday 26 March 2014. Your kind and loving words may have won big points with your loved ones during the timeframe of approx. 24-28 March, expanding your relationships with them. You may have found that this was a good window for smoothing over conflicts or delivering challenging news as your words may have been better received than you thought they would be.
Today, Saturday 29 March 2014, Venus in Aquarius trines Mars in Libra at 12:05p PDT. It is a time during which your love for your community or for humanity as a whole motivates you into action. Even if it’s taking action with or for only one person, during the timeframe of 26 March – 01 April, you are likely to feel inspired by and recognized for your unique and special beingness. You may even feel like you’ve found an ideal partner during this time, or that you recognize how “perfect” you and your partner are for each other through a social and/or professional context.
Also occurring today is Aquarius Venus square Scorpio Saturn Retrograde @ 2:14p PDT. You may find that your team or community peers may be presenting challenges to (or for) your personal transformation. This may be a big deal for you, especially if you’ve been making some changes in your life. This transit may magnify just how much you’ve changed as you may find that some of your peers may be upset about “the new/evolving you”. You may also find that some of your peers are bringing you into an awareness of what still needs to change through their behaviors or beingness. You may have questions about who you really want to be associated with.
Of course, the big deal for the weekend is the New Moon in Aries at 11:45a PDT tomorrow, Sunday 30 March 2014. But I’ll save that info for the next post.
