Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 departed from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 08 March 2014 at 12:41a local time.  The chart is drafted for that specific date, time, and place.

The departure date of the flight is a numerological 9 day, which represents fulfillment, completions, and endings.  There are indications that this flight could fit into any or all of these categories.

In the chart for the flight itself, the first thing that stands out is the big Grand Cross that forms with the aspect lines.  This is actually what I call an Angular Grand Cross because it is created by the angular points of the chart – the Ascendant (rising sign – cusp of the 1st house), the Imum Coeli (cusp of 4th house), the Descendent (setting sign – cusp of 7th house), and the Midheaven (cusp of 10th house).  This particular Angular Grand Cross occurs within the mutable signs of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, and Virgo.  Mutable energy is the energy of change and adaptability, preparation for whatever is to come next.

The Ascendant (or AC) or rising sign of Flight MH370 is Sagittarius.  Sagittarius is eternally optimistic and tends to be adventurous in an expansive, big picture kind of way.  This indicates that if the flight itself had a personality, it would be open to trying something new or different in order to gain the wisdom of that experience – anything to expand its knowledge and understanding of the world.  It innately knows that there is much more to life than keeping a narrow focus.  Though a narrow focus is often necessary to accomplish things, the bigger view helps keep those narrow details in perspective.  Sagittarius knows that it misses out on important information when it doesn’t pay attention to all of what is happening around it, so it does its best to take in everything…or at least as much as possible.

In contrast, the Midheaven in the flight’s chart would represent the flight’s most public expression and how others see or perceive the flight to be.  The Midheaven of Flight MH370 is Virgo.  In this case, the public sees the flight as something that is (or should be) very detailed oriented, and would not have taken to the skies without a plan.  The flight plan – from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing – is one component of the flight where a narrow focus would make itself known.  No one in the general public thought that this plane would do anything out of the ordinary.  From their perspective, this should have been an ordinary commercial flight, and all indications to date show that this flight was going according to plan in its early moments.

It seems that there isn’t much out of the ordinary in this chart based on that.  However, it is a Mutable Grand Cross indicating change and adaptability…and there were some major red flags in some of Flight MH370’s other chart aspects.

The first red flag is that the infamous 2014 Cardinal T-Square of Jupiter in Cancer, Uranus in Aries, and Pluto in Capricorn was in place during this time, therefore becoming part of the natal chart of Flight MH370. At time of departure, Pluto was in the flight’s 2nd house of lifestyle resources (material-physical-financial) – destroying and clearing out outdated structures and systems in regard to material-physical-financial resources or matters; Uranus was in the flight’s 5th house of self-expression, creativity, and recreational activity – bringing unexpected acts or events which reached a mass audience and opened up many avenues for creative thinking and action; and Jupiter was in the flight’s 8th house of power, influence, and emotional-spiritual depth – nurturing, protecting, and expanding the mysterious nature of the flight as result.

The second red flag is that at the time of the flight’s departure, Mercury in Aquarius in the 3rd house squared Saturn Retrograde in Scorpio in the 12th house.  Saturn Retrograde in Scorpio indicates a deeper, transformative intention for this flight, while Saturn in the 12th house indicates a structure, a system, and/or evidence that is being hidden or repressed.  Mercury in Aquarius in its 3rd house challenges any effort to hide the flight’s possible deeper intention by delivering information about the missing flight on a mass/global scale as itindicates that any information shared would likely raise additional questions – people would want to know more than the basic and obvious information about the flight. This is my first indicator that something about this flight could be amiss.

The third red flag is Venus in Aquarius in the 2nd house squared Ceres in Scorpio in the 11th house at the time the flight departed Kuala Lumpur.  The Venus-Ceres square indicates a challenge between diplomatic partnerships that revolutionize our lifestyles through technology, and the deep transformation and/or disregard of lifestyle values on a large or societal scale.  This is a testament to the international cooperation between the airline, the plane’s manufacturers, the nations of the plane’s passengers and crew, and the scope of the social media that connects many of us around the world.  It is also a testament to the fact that most of the world knows that the technology is advanced enough where a Boeing 777 Airliner should not have inexplicably and completely disappeared from radar or satellite tracking.

These red flags are the most curious to me as Scorpio energy also represents the cycle of life – birth, death, and rebirth.  It is interesting to note that this energy is present in the flight’s 11th house of social-professional networks and in the 12th house of transcendence and spiritual energy, and is naturally part of the  8th house as the 8th rules Scorpio.  Therefore, I have two possible interpretations of this: 1) that the plane has indeed crashed and all aboard perished, OR 2) that there are parties involved that want the general public to believe the plane has crashed.

In comparing the chart of the nation of Malaysia (16 Sept 1963 in Kuala Lumpur at 8:11a local time) with that of the flight itself, it is clear that the Malaysian government was not expecting such mass publicity of this flight’s disappearance as Malaysia’s Uranus conjuncts with Flight MH370’s Midheaven.  This also places the Malaysian government’s Uranus in alignment with the flight’s Angular Grand Cross.

The Malaysian government’s Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius is conjunct the flight’s afore-mentioned Mercury in Aquarius, adding even more suppressive Saturn energy to the communication of detailed information about the flight.  It is clear through this aspect that the Malaysian government did not and still does not want to discuss details about this plane’s disappearance.  This conjunction occurs in Malaysia’s 5th house, indicating great creativity in communicating information in order to control the flow of information – they either didn’t know anything in detail about the flight and made things up to save face, or they knew a whole lot more about it than they were willing to say and said too much to keep unwanted questions at bay.

Malaysia’s Mars is conjunct with the flight’s Ceres in Scorpio in the flight’s 11th house therefore also square the flight’s Venus, indicating that the government’s actions seemed mysterious and suspicious in regard to their actual handling of the flight’s disappearance.  Malaysia’s Mercury is trine the flight’s Venus, which also indicates they believed their communications about the flight’s disappearance would be sufficient to maintain a positive diplomatic energy and that the general public would accept their word on their account of what happened.  Unfortunately, they underestimated just how much attention the missing flight would garner.

The flight’s Moon was conjunct its Descendent (or DC) in the sign of Gemini in the 6th house.  This indicates that there would be great emotional investment in the way the flight should have gone about its course, and great emotional upset as result of the unexpected change in this flight’s course.  This flight’s disappearance would deeply affect the partners and/or companions of the flight and its passengers on a very practical and fundamental level as well as psychologically, as we saw in their devastated reactions to the disappearance of the plane.  The family members and friends of the passengers and crew would definitely ask questions to understand what happened, and the Malaysian government should have expected and been prepared to deal with those inquiries.

As far as what exactly happened to the plane, the intensity of the aspects within the flight’s chart and in between the charts of the flight and the Malaysian government tells me that the plane was intended to seem lost forever.  However, with the flight’s Sun in Pisces in the 4th house (home, security, safety), I really do question whether or not the plane actually crashed.  One thing is very clear to me in this whole matter: there was not supposed to be a search for the plane to the magnitude that there has been.

Based on the astrology, there seems to have been a much bigger plan to this flight’s disappearance, and I believe that has resulted in a great deal of conflict and fear for the parties involved.  I highly doubt there will be a confirmed resolution to this incident for a while as I get a sense that this plane was intended to disappear and never be found.  The conjunction of the flight’s Chiron and the Malaysian government’s Chiron in the sign of Pisces (in the flight’s 4th house and Malaysia’s 5th house) make one thing very clear –the wounds and the pain of this incident transcends politics and nationality, and is felt by the entire world.

Until the people, the plane, and/or the wreckage of the plane is found, the mystery of Flight MH370 will continue.  I send blessings to all affected and involved with the intention of this matter being resolved to its highest and finest good.
