Earlier this week, we discussed Mars conjunct Pluto in Capricorn’s assertive (if not, aggressive and forceful) efforts to get things done in powerful and transformative ways. We also discussed their sextile transit with Chiron Retrograde in Pisces, and how this is an indicator that people and entities are likely to make an effort to heal any open emotional-spiritual wounds in ways that align with their ideals, believing that their ideals and beliefs are in the best interests of everyone and All-That-Is.
Today, 12th November 2014, specifically the Mars-Chiron Retrograde sextile is exact at 4:37p PST. You (or others around you) may feel it is necessary to take bold actions to assert emotional or spiritual beliefs and ideals. You may also notice that these bold actions progress the intention of healing of long-held emotional or spiritual wounds, and that there may be a great deal of emotional investment in one’s spiritual beliefs revealed in the process.
Yet on this day, bold actions in the name of emotional-spiritual faith and healing are not all that is happening with this sextile. In fact, this sextile is only a part of a bigger entity. All three planets are in quincunx (or inconjunct) aspect with Juno in Leo today, forming a geometric configuration called a Yod.
Yods are also known as “fingers of God” because their slender shapes seem to point to information or insights that the Universe would like to bring attention to at a particular time. This Yod of Mars conjunct Pluto, Chiron Retrograde, and Juno reveals that at this time, taking bold actions to assert beliefs and ideals is how attention is drawn to and/or acknowledgment is garnered for a passionate commitment to bring Light into the world. On an individual level, it may also reveal how taking bold actions to heal emotional-spiritual wounds may help strengthen one’s awareness of and commitment to radiant self-expression.
Juno in Leo is at the focal point of this particular Yod, meaning that shining one’s unique expression of Light is paramount! This configuration makes known a commitment to revealing one’s True self to the world through daring and assertive action. These actions could be taken by individuals, groups, and/or institutions.
Uranus Retrograde also makes its presence known during this Yod. Uranus Retrograde in Aries is square Mars and Pluto in Capricorn and trine Juno in Leo while this Yod is most exact on 12th November.
The Mars-Uranus square creates tension as groups or communities are more likely to take equally-assertive collective action in response or reaction to the acts of seemingly rebellious individuals or factions. The Uranus-Pluto square energizes rebellious behavior as the authorities that used to be in power are now floundering, giving rogues an opportunity to fill the void that remains in their absence.
The Juno-Uranus trine creates an affinity between the two energies, indicating that the attention gained through independent or rogue acts of faith and/or rebellion will be well-publicized, far-reaching, and possibly well-received by others seeking first inspiration then attention for their own audacious acts of unique expression. A very committed following of an existing cause could develop, or there could be a great public revelation that brings acknowledgment of a serious issue and sparks a passionate and collective call to action.
Though this Yod is most exact on 12th November, and will be felt through 21st November, there are two other details of significance to note:
- The Yod is very strong on 13th November due to a conjunction of the Moon with Juno in Leo at the focal point of the Yod. For about 12 hours (approximately 7:00am to 7:00pm, most exact just after 12:00pm), there will be a heightened emotional investment in radiating Light and/or being seen and drawing attention to oneself that is likely to flavor the events of the day. Any assertive actions taken to this point may receive disproportionate reactions due to this enhanced emotional presence.
- The Yod loses most of its passion for action once Mars in Capricorn moves out of 3° orb during the late afternoon (PST) on 14th November. As result, things may calm down quite a bit. However, whatever does happen through the 21st will still make a powerfully transformative impact on the people and entities involved. The initiative may be gone, but the influence continues on.
During this Yod of Mars conjunct Pluto, Chiron Retrograde, and Juno, my words of guidance to you is to pay attention not only to what inspires you to shine your unique expression of Light, but also to what inspires you to take action to shine your Light in ways that have others know who you are and what you believe in.
If anything, this powerful Yod is a reminder to believe in yourself and believe in your ability to shine the Light that comes through you. Others will see you and they may follow your lead, but only if you actually shine your Light and take action to lead the way.
