At 9:06pm PDT on Friday, 28th October, 2016, an explosive square transit of Mars in Capricorn square Uranus Retrograde in Aries was at its most exact.
Mars in Capricorn is determined to get things accomplished. It can be assertive if not aggressive in pursuing its goals…and in this case, its determination could very well be its downfall. Its pro-active “tunnel vision” doesn’t serve it or anyone around it well, and actions intended to either advance or progress matters toward goals may prove to be premature and/or incendiary.
Uranus Retrograde in Aries is providing you with feedback from others regarding your actions. This is the community response to your assertive or aggressive actions. This may also reveal the actions of the community itself, and you can learn a lot about their perspectives and motives through their actions (or lack thereof). It would be wise for you to pay attention to the actions of others at this time – to see if they are advocating for your position…or rising up against it. Consider this transit your warning shot from the court of public opinion…
This October 2016 Capricorn Mars-Aries Uranus Retrograde square is a battle of wills – the will of your ego determined to achieve your goal versus the will of those around you determined to make their intentions (and/or anger) known.
I don’t doubt it’ll be a good fight, but I will say this – there’s usually strength in numbers.
Square aspects and transits always represent tension. Tension is necessary because change would not happen without it. Yet this Mars-Uranus tension is potent, and with cardinal mode signs involved, this dynamic marks the beginning of a marked shift in approach. The usual way of doing things is not going to work, and the usual team of people is probably not going to be working together this time around.
Mars is also square with its sign of rulership, Aries, represented through Uranus Retrograde. This indicates that the challenges are likely to be dealt with in initiative or pro-active ways. And with Mars in an earth sign (Cap), there’s bound to be a physical or experiential manifestation or result of these combustible actions which shows up in a rather expedient fashion.
All in all, it should be a very interesting few days. Though the exact transit occurred yesterday evening, we’ve been feeling the challenges of this Capricorn Mars-Aries Uranus Rx square since Tuesday, 25th October, and we’ll continue to feel this energy through Tuesday, 1st November.
We’ll also experience Mars moving into square aspect with Ceres Retrograde in Aries as it separates from Uranus Retrograde. There may be some challenging (personal) values-driven changes coming into play as we complete the month of October and move into November, especially in regard to any lifestyle resource dependency issues you may have…nd these will be simulateneously emerging as the Mars-Uranus Rx square is coming to its end.
It’s going to be a bumpy few days.
