Black Moon Lilith moved out of deep, dark, secretive Scorpio into the open, adventurous, expansive sign of Sagittarius at 4:32p PST yesterday, Monday 13th February 2017.

Black Moon Lilith is an apogee of the Earth’s Moon – a calculated point much like the angular points of a Zodiac chart (ASC, IC, DSC, MC) or the Vertex/Anti-Vertex points. Yet despite its immaterial presence, it has been proven to have remarkable validity in revealing a soul’s deepest and darkest desires for expression. This desire is often expressed emotionally, and reveals the motivation behind many of our ‘inexplicable’ emotional urges – the power that drives us, often despite our better judgment.

Sagittarius is the truth-seeker of the Zodiac. Also known for being optimistic, expansive, and inclusive, Sag is all of those things because it seeks truth using kindness and openness to create connection and build trust with others rather than using confrontation, hate, and defensiveness. Despite its fire sign energy, Sag isn’t a bully. It inherently knows that you get more flies with honey than vinegar.

Yet Sagittarius can become aggressive when it comes to its pursuit of truth. In fact, the only times Sagittarius does get aggressive is when it feels trapped or held back from exploring and expanding its experience of the world OR when it cannot get to the factual or experiential truth of a matter.

When you combine the energies of Lilith and Sagittarius, you get an intense desire to get to the truth of matters, and not just any truth – this is the search for the dark, ugly truth. This is a willing if not eager dive into the dark truths of people, situations, establishments, and pretty much anything else that has a hidden truth to reveal or have exposed.

In other words, if you’ve been hiding it, get ready for it to come out into the open.

Black Moon Lilith stays in each sign for about 9 months, and takes approximately 9.75 years to make a full Zodiac rotation. Take some time to look back at where you we 9.75 years ago (10th April 2007- 3rd January 2008) to see if any of this feels familiar to you in any way. You may also want to look at what happened during that time

However, you may also want to realize that this is now…and what is happening now is very different than nine years ago.

This 2017 Sagittarius Black Moon Lilith is coming in under an Aquarius 3 Sun, meaning the Light that is shining upon these revelations of truth is a public spotlight – one which will expand the awareness of the public in ways that are rather exceptional. The more people learn, the more they will seek. This will lead to further inquiries into what you’ve been hiding and what your motives really were (or are) for your choices and actions.

The biggest challenge is that the more you try to hide your motives, the more they may come to the surface. If you’re really wanting to hide something right now, know that 1) you’ve got your work cut out for you, and 2) the more you try to keep it hidden, the more you will actually end up exposing it.

At the time Lilith entered Sagittarius (0.00°), it was making sextile aspect to the actual Moon in Libra (2.02°) and quincunx aspect to Ceres in Taurus (2.61°).

The sextile with the Moon reveals a heightened emotional desire for equality, fairness, and justice to be served. The truths being revealed right now (and under this Sagittarius Black Moon) will bring calls for the scales to be balanced. There will be no exceptions.

The quincunx with Ceres reveals an indirect question of one’s personal values and motives. What is truly important to you or to another person, community, or institution? The revelation of these dark truths may reveal what is truly most valued…and it may not be as noble or moral as others believe it “should” be.

These three actually create a very loose Yod configuration, which points to Ceres as the resolution point. The truths which are emerging are causing people to question their personal values and morals – what do they really align with, and are their values aligned with truth, justice, and equality for themselves and other individuals or are they aligned with protecting their personal interests, comfort, and security?

But the big event(s) involving Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius comes in about a month – 12-13 March 2017 – when Lilith is both the pivot of a T-Square with the Virgo/Pisces Nodal Axis AND one of the leg points of another Yod (this time with the Moon in Libra and Mars in Taurus). The T-Square reveals a revelation which could shift the course of social/societal/humanitarian perspective from idealistic delusion (of the Pisces South Node) to practical reality (of the Virgo North Node), and the Yod reveals actions which could reveal some very dark truths about society and/or humanity which must be acted upon and dealt with.

The truths revealed over the next nine months – these may hurt. There will be some painful realities coming to light, and there’s also likely to be some major fallout and consequences to deal with once it all comes to light. This isn’t going to be easy, but it is going to get each and all of us to a place where we can finally deal with ourselves and our lives with honesty, authenticity, and integrity.

And for Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius, revealing, facing, dealing with those ugly truths, making sure justice is served, and emerging with our integrity restored after the fallout is what matters most.
