The 2017 Gemini New Moon reaches its maximum phase at 12:44p PDT on Thursday, 25th May 2017 (4.78°). The Sun and Moon make their union in this mutable air sign, bringing intellectual flexibility and adaptability to change. Yet it is also the seeking and implementation of information which enables such change to occur. This information is the star of this 2017 Gemini New Moon show.
Gemini is known as “the Twins” in characters of the Zodiac. Twins often manifest either as “two peas in a pod” or as two very different personalities.
This 2017 Gemini New Moon would fall under the “very different personalities” category.
This 2017 Gemini Sun Period comes with a good deal of challenging energy, and this Gemini New Moon is no exception. This next few weeks, and this New Moon in particular reveals a clear struggle with duality and duplicity – the ‘battle’ between good and evil, Light and Darkness.
Many of us have been dealing with this struggle for a while now. The Universe has been sending us messages, encouraging us to delve into our darkest depths within in order to find the answers we’ve been seeking outside of ourselves for months if not years now.
Sadly, many of us have been resisting these communications.
Many of us continued to look for something, someone…anything, anyone…in order to relieve our pain, lift us from our fog, and free us from our burdens.
Yet some of us have started looking within – facing our demons in our darkness, and to our surprise, finding the Light we’ve been searching for…within ourselves.
That elusive Light is within our hearts, and under this 2017 Gemini New Moon, it is the Truth within our hearts which will change our minds and transform our outlook on our lives. This Gemini New Moon is challenging each and all of us to release what we think we know in order to receive what we need to know in order to communicate with our hearts to reprogram our minds and move forward with clarity of mind and purpose. For those who are open to the journey within, this could be the beginning of a wonderful new adventure.
And you won’t have to take this adventure alone.
The 2017 Gemini New Moon occurs on a 22 universal day. 22 is the number of the “master network builder”. Because it is two twos making up this master number, this reveals a desire to create networks which may not make logical sense, but which make emotional sense. Twenty-two builds connections and networks which feel good, and therefore, often end up interacting and functioning better than most. This is because the people involved are truly connected through quality connections that serve a deeper purpose than the simple fulfillment of utilitarian needs.
The 22 energy reminds us that in order to learn, we must seek out exchanges of information with others. This is how communities and networks form, and in the case of the day’s 22 energy, you may find yourself building communities which are bonded through their journeys through darkness to find their Light.
By moving through the darkness within in order to reclaim the brilliance of your inner Light, you find the Light which gets to shine from within you out into the world, and which will have its Truth reflected back to you by the Sagittarius Full Moon arriving on 9th June. The Light of that Full Moon will guide you forward.
This 22 day occurs in a 6 universal month which encourages a focus on health, wellness, and functionality. This is also occurring during a 1 universal year in which new beginnings and planting seeds is encouraged. This is a wonderful time to shift your way of thinking and speaking to create a new experience of yourself and your life.
The Sun-Moon conjunction will be unaspected this time around. That means that there are no major transits formed with any other bodies or planets at the time of maximum phase. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t some seriously powerful energy occurring on this day in addition to the New Moon.
