Some strive to be part of the crowd, while others strive to rebel against it. Which are YOU? Which role are YOU committed to playing in your community – team player or a rogue agent?
As Juno entered the sign of Aquarius at 11:19a PST on 16th December 2017, this question was immediately thrust into the spotlight. There’s a lot to be for and a lot to be against in our current personal, societal, and world matters. The circumstances are rather unnerving, and Juno in Aquarius gives us a chance to decide how we want to proceed.
Consider which role enables you to make your best contribution to the greater whole. After all, not everyone is meant to fit in, even if that’s what our social and societal structures try to condition us to believe. Teamwork makes the dream work… until you recognize that your team doesn’t really support or encourage you to pursue or achieve your dream. Then you may find that you’re more trapped by your community than you are truly part of it. I mean, what have they done for YOU lately? Or maybe the more important question to ask is… what have they allowed you to contribute to THEM lately?
That’s the plot twist of this 2017-2018 Juno in Aquarius dynamic. We are led to believe it’s what we can do for others. We are led to believe that we must be committed to being of service to others, and that it is noble and honorable to sacrifice our self-identities to go along with the rest of the sheep. For many of us, it may seem like the easier thing to do to simply go where everyone else around us is going – to believe what they believe, to say what they say, to do what they do.
But what if you really aren’t feeling it? What if you really don’t want to go, believe, say, or do what they do? What if you really do have a mind of your own?
Where is your commitment then? Where do your loyalties stand?
This 2017-2018 Juno in Aquarius practically forces us to answer that question. Here’s your chance to follow the crowd, be a leader in and/or for your community, or to rebel against the popular beliefs and perspectives to honor your unique contribution to humanity.
Juno isn’t very active in the next few weeks, but don’t let that fool you – its presence will definitely be felt. It makes an exact semi-sextile transit with the Capricorn 4 Sun on 24th December (felt 21st-27th December), and a sextile transit with Venus in Sagittarius on 28th December (felt 26th-31st December). The first transit will find you focused on how to respond the the new societal structures emerging; the second transit will find you seeking partners in bringing important factual information to the masses.
Juno will be in the sign of Aquarius now through 23rd February 2018.
Thank you for reading and sharing Signs and Numbers. Until next post…
