So you wanna be startin’ somethin’?
Now’s the time.
We had a New Moon in Aries yesterday morning at 7:37a PDT. Aries is the sign of action, and New Moons are always good times to start something new. Put the two together, and you have what may be the most fertile time of year to get started on projects you’ve been planning or considering.
Aries is also a fire sign – passionate and assertive, and it can be rather intense. Pay attention to exactly what inspires you into action. Chances are that these are the areas of your life that you are drawn to take passionate, assertive (maybe even aggressive) action in to move matters onward and upward.
Pay attention to what you’ve started recently, or even better, to what you’ve been feeling inclined to start recently. You’re not drawn to these new ideas or experiences by accident – this is your inner truth calling. Answer the call. It’s trying to lead you to the next steps of your journey.
But where is your journey taking you? That’s the fun part! – it’s up to you. We each and all have choice in the course of our lives. Really! There are no accidents or coincidences – only synchronicities and opportunities. The Universe really does provide. The question becomes…what are you asking for? Or better yet, what are you acting for?
You see. Actions really do speak louder than words. I recently took action, communicating something to someone in my life and asking for a response to what I shared with them…and they haven’t responded verbally. And frankly, at this point, I don’t expect them to. Why? Because their actions have said it all. They’ve made it clear where they stand in the matter through body language and behavioral changes. I don’t need them to verbally tell me…because they actively already have.
Even for those of us who would rather talk than take action, our actions will often betray us if we are taking actions contrary to what we say or do. It’s like saying you’re committed to losing weight, only to eat half that chocolate cream pie all by yourself.
Your words have no power if your actions don’t align with them…and your actions can leave you feeling as if you’ve betrayed yourself when you don’t align them with your words.
I’ve learned through experience that that is the key to seeing the things we start now through to their completions and fulfillments – aligning our actions with our thoughts and words.
