New Moons always represent new beginnings. Yet this time around, the new beginnings have a little more fire to them.
This 2014 Aries New Moon enters a rather volatile scene at 11:45a PDT on Sunday 30 March. A Cardinal T-Square of Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries, and Jupiter in Cancer has been around for a while and is very potent with its feisty yet conflicted energy as the old is being cleared to make way for the new. In the midst of this clearing, people are challenged by their connections with loved ones as they seek out ways to express their individuality within or to seek their independence from the collective whole which is being forced to evolve as the old ways disappear. Today’s Aries New Moon/Sun-Moon conjunction will be within 3° orb of Uranus, therefore being in conjunction with the pivot point of the T-Square, bringing some intense emotional desire for new opportunities and/or fresh starts that encourage unique individual self-expression within the collective whole or independence from the collective whole.
The Moon will then move into exact conjunction with Uranus in Aries a few hours later on 30 April. This reveals that the New Moon and the Moon-Uranus conjunction may end up being the set-ups for whatever happens when the Sun’s conjunction with Uranus is exact on 02 April, maximizing its dynamic with the Cardinal T-Square that is currently in place. It is an indicator that what is revealed on 02 April (or leading up to it) could have a powerful emotional root or trigger. This could also be a sign that old emotional upsets may finally come to the surface and/or that long-hidden truths about the upsets may be revealed at this time. That said, the start of this resolution process may not be pretty.
In fact, it’s more likely pressure really starts building up under this Aries New Moon influence. With the “mother” of Full Moons occurring on 15 April – a Moon-Ceres conjunction with a Sun-Juno conjunction in exact opposition with each other to create a double-conjuncted Libra Full Moon–Aries Total Eclipse, and with Mars in Libra entering 3° orb to complete and set fire to the Cardinal Grand Cross during the morning of 16 April, this Aries New Moon is likely setting the stage for whatever is likely to combust in that mid-April 2-day frame.
But for now, the thing to remember here is that New Moons represent new beginnings. This 2014 Aries New Moon is the opening scene of a very intense couple of months, and may be the start of a very profound and undeniable end to things that have been the way they’ve been for a long time and no longer serve us well as a collective. The steps taken now toward the resolution of the matters at hand really are only the first steps, though there’s no denying that they are likely to be very passionate first steps.
Whether you are walking or running toward the fulfillment of these matters, keep in mind that this part of the journey is going to be intense for a while. Hold on for a wild ride over the next few weeks.
Thanks for reading and sharing Signs and Numbers. Until next post…
