For the first time in MANY years, we have Uranus in square (90°) aspect to the Nodal Axis.
Why is this a BIG deal?
Uranus in Gemini represents the (potential) evolution of the communication of information & the technologies that facilitate its distribution into the world. This is mass communication through broadcasting, the internet (social media, streaming, etc). It also represents how we choose to communicate ideas & information as a community, society, &/or as as collective humanity in matters of education, broadcasting, journalism, etc. The ways we choose to utilize or control these resources are the methods by which we facilitate the intellectual evolution of humanity.
With Uranus squaring the transiting Pisces North Node & the Virgo South Node, this indicates that humanity is at a crossroads with how it’s choosing to access and use the technologies at hand to inform the public-at-large, or in some cases, if there’s even an intention to share information with the public at all.
The Pisces North Node encourages an awareness of the interconnection of everyone & everything, to the point where common interest in any information that could be shared is pretty much a given to any equation in this regard, yet with the Virgo South Node, that afore-mentioned common awareness may be overlooked or discouraged in favor of letting people know ONLY essential or practical details that serve their day-to-day lives, keeping them preoccupied with themselves & their own daily routines & ordinary needs. There’s nothing inherently bad or wrong about people being focused on their everyday lives… but when there‘s so much information available that reveals how everything & everyone are interconnected (for both better and worse), that withholding of information comes with questions about what is or isn’t being shared, when it is or isn’t being shared, & why it is or isn’t being shared.
With Uranus squaring this Pisces/Virgo nodal axis, expect to find ourselves having to face & answer some BIG questions not only about who gets access to what information, but also whose ideas, thoughts, &/or beliefs are being communicated to the masses as fact. The choices we make now, both collectively AND individually, will determine how we as unique individuals within a greater whole AND as communities, societies, & humanity-at-large choose to allow ourselves AND each other access to information now & in the future.
That said, it’s important to remember that Uranus has a bit of a rebellious streak, because one of the biggest questions we face is how much are we as individuals & as communities/societies/humanity willing to allow or tolerate in regard to how information & the communications of it are handled or controlled.
- Who determines who gets access to what?
- Who determines what information is shared?
- Who gets to determine how &/or when that information is shared?
We must understand & act upon the fact that choices made now WILL affect all of us MUCH sooner than later. They will affect the evolution of humanity.
Though this Uranus square the Nodal Axis transit is most exact on 11th/12th June 2026, its energetic presence will be powerfully in effect from 24th May 2026 through 1st July 2026. If you haven’t already been giving attention to information/communication/technology matters, now would be an excellent if not imperative time to do so. It will be up to each & all of us to advocate for ourselves & each other in regard to whether access to various forms of information, communication, & technology continues to be granted or denied.
