On this first day of August 2014, the second Water Grand Trine within 12 days (Venus in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, Chiron Retrograde in Pisces) is at its most exact (16-17°) in the morning hours, bringing forth very emotionally-charged diplomatic efforts. In various conflicts and debates in different situations around the world and in both private and public matters, there will be allies and advocates sought and partnerships formed in order to protect and defend emotional interests. Don’t let the usual “positive” nature of trine energy fool you – this is bound to be a very severe and transformative energy presence, felt from the 29th of July through the 3rd of August. Though there is a serious intention to resolve and heal long-held past wounds, the emotional charge may be too much to overcome.
But believe it or not, this day is not all about the Grand Trine!
An exact square between Libra Moon and Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn (11°) occursonly a couple of hours after the second Grand Trine is exact, and the emotional impact of the major changes that have been happening in the world may become a very personal emotional experience as there is something about it all that may finally hit home for you. You may finally understand that they aren’t just things happening to other people on the other side of the world. It all really does affect you, too.
Later in the day, an exact square between Mars in Scorpio and Jupiter in Leo (3°) with Jupiter within conjunction orb of Mercury in Leo (1°). This occurs at 3:46p PDT, about 9 hours after the second Water Grand Trine makes its zenith. Even if the best intentions come forth as result of the Grand Trine, it will take a great deal of ego surrender and sacrifice on the part of those who would otherwise insist on keeping their ego-pride alive. This Mars-Jupiter-Mercury square is an indicator that any egos or ego-driven agendas that remain even the smallest bit intact in the wake of the Grand Trine will be tested, given opportunity to clash and to fight for their right to be “right” in a big way on this day. Certain decisive actions that may be taken by one party may be blown out of proportion by the other in order to create drama to ensure positions of power and influence.
And if that’s not enough, there is a brief Lunar T-Square during the late afternoon/early evening with the Libra Moon, Cancer Venus, and Uranus Retrograde in Aries (16- 19°), putting relationships to the test as you and/or others may be emotionally confronted in trying to decide who to put first moving forward – yourself or your partners. This Lunar T-Square won’t last long (only a few hours), but it may make a very lasting impression on the current matters-at-hand.
