On Saturday 3/19, not only is there a Full Moon in Virgo at 11:10a PDT – it will be the closest the Moon has ever traveled to the Earth in about 18 years. For that reason, some have labeled this next Full Moon as a “Supermoon”. And probably because of recent events and the inclination of some to go all ‘doomsday theory’ on matters, there are predictions of all sorts of geographical chaos and human detriment to coincide with larger-than-normal tidal patterns and increased magnetic energy.
Yes, the Moon is closely linked to the ocean tides and magnetic energy of the Earth.
And yes, there is a likelihood that the Earth will be affected by the Moon’s closer than usual proximity.
However, it is yet to be seen just how that will take effect physically or geographically. I’m not willing to go predicting chaos and destruction for Saturday and Sunday – the details are definitely a wait-and-see type of thing. We’ll see.
Though I will admit – we are in a 4 Universal Year by numerological terms – a year in which people are trying to create solid and stable foundations for themselves and for what they want to create for their lives. And for a year which is all about establishing stability, security and safety, there is quite a bit of upheaval going on around the planet and within humanity-at-large.
And that said, with Mercury (thoughts and communication), Jupiter (Truth and expansion) and Uranus (the unique and unexpected) already in Aries at the time of the Full Moon, and with Sun in Aries following on Sunday 3/20 at 4:21p, there is plenty of energy building up waiting and ready to be expressed through physical activity. And with the Full Moon in Virgo, that energy will be activated and we are likely to begin reaping the tangible and experiential results of our emotion-based actions during this last month of Sun in Pisces. In the light of the Full Moon in Virgo and of the Sun in Aries the following day, we may finally realize that our everyday routines and practices may actually and really be – no kidding – forever changed. This realization is going to awaken some emotions that many of us have had hints of but may not have allowed ourselves to feel up to this point. And as we begin to feel those emotions, it will be our expression of those emotions (or our resistance to and/or denial of them) that will be the impetus for our actions coming forth in the next few days and over the next few weeks as we move into Sun in Aries.
All that is happening beyond our control is pushing us to get real with ourselves and to get honest about what we are really trying to do with each other and for each other, for better and worse.
Of course, most people (which may or may not include you) won’t believe this until it affects them or pushes them directly. And these affects aren’t necessarily ‘bad’ or ‘good’ – they just are whatever they are for each of us. Yet people will choose to believe that they are above or beyond affect and that all this stuff happening on the other side of the world doesn’t have anything to do with them…until it does.
Guess what? It’s about time it does.
Get ready, get set…things are about to get going.
More in the regular weekly blog post on Sunday. Until then…
