It’s been quite the busy and crazy ride through Aries in these last few weeks. I’ve had quite a few of you ask me when is this crazy-busy, frustrating, intense, conflict-ridden time is going to be over. I thought things would ease up some once the Sun moved into Taurus. I stand corrected.
Upon closer inspection, I need to retract my earlier statement in that regard.
The Sun does move into Taurus on Thursday April 20th early in the morning (3:17a PDT). For some people, Sun into Taurus may feel like an easing of the pressure. For others, it may feel like intensification as the assertive (or aggressive) Aries energy shows up more tangibly in matters of security and stability.
Though the Sun is moving into Taurus, Aries’ energy of initiation and activity is definitely not going away anytime soon. In fact, that pushy Aries feeling is going to be here quite a while longer, and it will continue to be strongly felt.
Aries’ presence continues to be felt due to the fact that we’ll still have quite a presence in Aries. Note the following:
- Venus enters Aries on April 20th, roughly 18 hours after the Sun leaves Aries. With Venus’ entrance, “love”
gets assertive…or action is rooted in loving intent. And if there hasn’t been (enough?) action or activity in your relationships, it definitely begins to show up here, for better or worse. - Mars remains in Aries until May 11th. This is the main indicator that this “pushy” energy we’ve been feeling
continues for a while longer. - Mercury is in Aries until May 15th, though it begins moving direct again on April 23rd, ending this
current retrograde period. Tomorrow, the time for taking actions to take care of business that should have been taken care of before is coming to an end. It’s all forward from there…that is until the next Mercury Retrograde arrives in August, starting in Virgo but returning to Leo for most of its backtrack. - Jupiter remains in Aries until early June 2011. Truth-based action and activity continue on through then. Actions
and unexpected events continue to reveal the real truth of matters. And with Taurus beginning to enter the picture, our focus on truh likely shifts from our identities to the tangible reality of our identities – our physical-material-financial
resources and our perceptions of our security and stability. We begin to experience the reality of who we each and collectively are being in the world through our individual and collective perspectives of the resources we need to survive and thrive. - And Uranus just entered Aries recently, and will be traveling through Aries for approximately the next seven years – through May of 2018. The surprises and sudden incidents which have become near-everyday occurrences are going to continue as Uranus strives to liberate us from…well, from ourselves and from beliefs and behaviors which are not in alignment with the collective ‘greater good’ and our individual inner truths. Understand that these events are happening the way they are happening to not-so-gently nudge humanity into a collective shift
– an evolutionary awareness. And on a more personal level, they nudge you into the actions you need to be taking in your individual life.
These ‘shift events’ are major events that are happening to all of us. Yet they also bring a very personal awakening to something exclusive within each of us alone. Aries’ active and initiative energy has made some of its boldest moves, yet has still felt somewhat hypothetical. Taurus brings tangibility and reality to the party. The Sun’s light will soon be shining on the short-term results of our actions, on what our actions are actually producing. If we don’t like what we are getting, we still have time to change course while we have so much Aries energy in play. As things move into Taurus, matters will probably stabilize, yet they stabilize with whatever you’ve put or are putting into motion now. If you don’t like what the direction you’re moving, change it while you can. This is not a time to procrastinate. It’s a time to make the changes – to take actions to not only make, but to be the changes you want to see in yourself and to see in the world.
This Aries energy – it’s not over yet. In fact, we’re only at the beginning. But as difficult as it may seem, enjoy it while you’ve got it. Enjoy it while you can do something with it, and while you can do something about it.
