Full moons are interesting times, as they represent the fruition point of everything that began at the new moon. Whatever your thoughts or “seed actions” were a couple of weeks ago, they are likely showing up in your life right about now. For some, this is a wonderful time. For others, it’s when things hit the fan and things can get a bit hectic in our lives as we attempt to deal with the mess.

With the full moon in Aries, this is also a time at which we look at ourselves. The things coming to the surface in this full moon are giving us the opportunity to see ourselves more clearly, and to allow us to see if we are really being true to ourselves and if we are really being authentic with others. This full moon is also in conjunction with the autumnal equinox, so it also represents a time when we are considering what needs to stay in and what need to go or be released from our lives. It can be a very confrontational time, as we may be seeing things we aren’t too pleased with about ourselves or others in our lives, as this is happening in the reflection of Sun in Libra which brings attention to partnerships and relationships of all kinds, and the balance and harmony (or lack thereof) in them.

In an Aries full moon, we are being called to look directly at our interactions with others, and in that process, we find the focus and attention on ourselves indirectly as we get to see who we are being in our lives in response or reaction to those relationships. Often, this comes as we are receiving feedback or communication from others about us, as it’s the people in our lives that initiate this self-examination. It’s not always the most comfortable process, but don’t blow off the feedback you’re getting now, however it may be delivered or presented to you. Even if it seems irrelevant or to be something that you don’t believe is true about you, once you filter through your own judgements about the other person, the actual content of their communication can prove itself to be more insightful than you may first recognize, and you may find it to be a very powerful and valuable contribution or blessing to your life’s journey in the long run.

So in this 3-4 days of Aries full moon energy, give yourself a few moments to assess yourself in how you are being and acting with others. Who are you being in your life, what type of actions are you taking, and what works and doesn’t work for you about how you are choosing to be and do with others in your life? The spotlight (indirectly) is on you – take the actions you’ve got to take to bring about the changes you want to see in your world.

Until next week…
