Time is at the fore of my thoughts right now, as my schedule has become a bit more full recently and as I find myself waiting for a few things to show up in my life. Most people think that because I am an astrologer, numerologist, and tarot reader, I should know these things for myself. But there’s a couple of things people should know: 1) Sometimes the most challenging person to read for can be oneself; and 2) No matter what else we may be led or tempted to believe, timing indeed can be altered.

Think of it like this: Let’s say the opportunity you are looking for is like a bus. If you’re at the bus stop when the bus comes, you are there when your bus/opportunity arrives. If you are on your way to the bus stop and choose to stop at the coffee shop, and the news stand, and to pet that cute puppy on the way, you may be late and miss the bus/opportunity. Likewise, if you leave too early, you may be waiting longer than you hoped for your bus/opportunity to arrive.

That is how the timing of events happens in life. We say we want things to happen, yet sometimes we throw that timing off when we make choices that have us ahead or behind of the opportunities we have asked for. There are times when we are right on time, and our opportunities are there when we are, or come when we are there to receive them. And no matter what the timing is, the manifestation of events in our lives requires our minds and hearts to be open to however those opportunities may show up for us – sometimes, they don’t show up the way we want or expect them to, and we miss them because we are so attached to having them show up a certain way other than how they do.

This is why I have such an adamant thing about timing and forecasting. I’ve found that many people come to astrologers and numerologists because they want to know what and when with as much detail as possible, and we can ballpark this…to a point. Yet a lot depends on how willing our clients are to learn and apply the lessons revealed in their charts and how open they are to just how what they want may come into their lives. Astrology and numerology charts are like personal blueprints or guidemaps for our lives, guiding each of us to our destiny if we are willing to follow the “directions”. The thing is, most of us don’t follow the directions completely or exactly (not like our humanity could really allow us to, anyway), which is why timing can vary. Depending on our personal choices made in free will, we can take the direct route…or the scenic route to the fulfillment of our life purposes. The path we choose to take at any moment can affect the timing of events in our lives, and it doesn’t even have to be a major choice. In fact, the smaller choices collectively can make the biggest impact on timing.

That being said, I believe that things can be narrowed down to what I like to call “windows of possibility” though astrology and numerology. Numerology tends to be better about getting the time frame narrowed down, whereas astrology can be more insightful as to what types of events will occur during that time…which is why I like to use both in tandem. However, I truly believe that for absolutely exact timing, you need a psychic or someone with very heightened precognitive abilities to be able to tell you an exact timing of events…and even then, due to that free will thing, no timing is ever set in stone.

I’d love to hear your feedback on this, or any of my blog posts! I’m all for dialogue with each of you, so feel free to post a comment with your thoughts or experiences regarding timing in readings…or regarding any of the other blog topics to date.

Until next week…
