The 2026 Aries Moon reaches its maximum phase at 4:51a PDT on 17th April 2026 (27°28’). This New Moon phase is the headline feature within the 2026 Aries Stellium involving EIGHT celestial bodies (in the following order at the time of the New Moon’s max phase: Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Eris, Chiron, the Sun, and the Moon – from 2° through 27° Aries). This is a profound time of accelerated action & activity that has two very distinct and important areas of focus:
- How this impacts your personal/individual life
- How this impacts all of us collectively, as humanity-at-large
Aries is a cardinal fire sign. The first sign of the Zodiac, it marks the beginning of a new Zodiac year and the beginning of a new season (Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere). Fire is both destructive and creative, and to honor both energies, we can look at this Aries New Moon phase as the clearing of what no longer honors our inner truths in order to create space for the seeding of what will honor our True selves and enable us to act in our best interests, individually and collectively.
Of course, what is “best” is often a matter of individual opinion, whether that individual is a person or an entity. This is where we’ll begin our impact assessment.
For individual persons, it will be important for you to know where Aries is found in your natal and progressed charts. The house(s) Aries occupies in your charts will indicate where this 2026 Aries New Moon and Aries Stellium will provide opportunities for new beginnings for your life and where current energies and events are most likely to make the most powerful impact(s) in your life. These opportunities may be manifestations of intentions you set in the past, and/or their manifestations may enable you to plant new seeds now in order to produce future manifestations. Either way, it is imperative that you are clear and confident in setting your intentions at this time. This New Moon + Stellium in Aries is creating an unusually strong manifestation portal that is converging past, present, and future timelines, meaning this is not a time to be careless with your thoughts, words, and/or actions. If anything, this is a time to be very, very intentional.
For individual entities/organizations/institutions, it will be important for them to know where Aries is found in their establishment/origination and progressed charts. The house(s) Aries occupies will indicate where this 2026 Aries New Moon and Aries Stellium are likely to make their most profound impact(s) upon the entity. There are likely to be actions taken to follow-through on plans established in the past that are now being realized or trying to be realized. There will also be actions taken to set plans for the future in motion. In some cases, the plans are both created in the past and are now being acted upon to establish certain realities in the future.

These actions, regardless of if they are taken by ourselves or by others, will bring emotionally-invested changes to our individual and collective life experiences very quickly and possibly in surprising ways. These changes are likely to be significant, and therefore, may not be welcomed by some of us who would rather maintain our self-identity and/or lifestyle status quo as a matter of emotional comfort or security. What you’ll need to remember is that Aries can be assertive if not aggressive, and especially with Mars being part of the stellium and in its home sign, you may feel like you’re being pushed if not forced into change whether you want it or not. How you choose to respond or react to the push(es) or uses of force is entirely up to you, but it won’t be surprising if you or others react or respond from anger, frustration, or from a sense of having nothing left to lose.
That said, these shifts may not appear during this New Moon phase and/or Stellium period. Yes, some changes may occur now or soon as realizations or manifestations of intentions past. However, other changes will come later as result of intentions set now and actions taken now. The key here is to remember that Aries is action, and sometimes, those actions can be impulsive, impatient, assertive, and/or aggressive or violent in nature. I will say this – despite Mars being in its home sign, Saturn also being in the sign implores us to use discipline and focus to be clear and intentional when taking any action(s) now.
Numerologically speaking, on this 22 Universal Day of a 5 Universal Month of a 1 Universal Year, this 2026 Aries New Moon brings long-awaited changes to our individual and collective experiences very quickly and possibly in unexpected ways – ways that are likely to bring individuals together in genuine and emotionally-bonded community, building a strong, solid, and unified (mass) effort to effect collective change. If you’ve been feeling slow, stagnant, or alone, you’re likely to be inspired to take a stand for yourself and others for the first time in a long time. If you’ve been taking steps and making progress, get ready for things to move faster than they’ve been moving before now. That said, the actions you take now may not bring immediate results nor may they bring everything you’ve been waiting for all at once, but they are likely to bring at least one thing that you set an intention for, even if it doesn’t show up exactly as you envisioned or imagined. And that one thing is likely to change the trajectory of your life from this moment on.
One important astrological transit that stands out during this 2026 Aries New Moon and Aries Stellium is Aquarius Juno conjunct Pluto at 4-5°, sextile Aries Neptune, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn at 2-7° at the time of the New Moon’s maximum phase. With Juno representing commitments of all kinds and Pluto representing transformation (a.k.a. – death to rebirth), this could represent humanity, technology, or the interaction of both bringing lofty ideals about how technology can be used in proactive and assertive (or aggressive) ways. Exactly how technology would be used depends on the intentions of the individual persons and/or institutions. Will it represent the death of the old ways or of old beliefs/mindsets in order to clear the way for new beliefs and innovations to emerge… and if so, who’s beliefs and/or innovations are being cleared, and who’s are now being (or are trying to be) implemented? Will technology be used to enhance humanity’s evolution, or will it be used to control humans’ unique expressions and hinder human evolution?
Two other important astrological transits occurring during this 2026 Aries New Moon are:
- Scorpio Black Moon Lilith Retrograde (True BML)( 27°) in quincunx aspect to the Sun-Moon conjunction in Aries, ego-driven intimacy issues are being forced out of the shadows and into the light of Truth, many of us are intuitively/emotionally feeling or recognizing their misalignment with the personal and collective spiritual/moral awakenings we’re experiencing now. And…
- Taurus Uranus (29°) is in semi-sextile aspect to the Aries Sun-Moon conjunction, and as more people become aware of their individual existence being part of the collective whole of humanity, that awareness is leading people to become more aware and protective of both their individual sovereignty and the physical, material, and financial resources that sustain it.
As result, the increased spiritual and moral awareness is empowering individuals to take assertive or aggressive action(s) in their own best (survival) interests, which in some cases, they’re learning may also be in the best interests of the survival of humanity-at-large. Both the personal, local, and global events occurring and initiating during this time will likely prove to not only be catalysts and accelerants for rapid spiritual awakening, but also aggressors and accelerants for social and societal reckonings of significance in the chronicles of humanity. It should be noted that many of these actions will be initiated from frustration and/or anger, though sometimes, that is what is necessary in order to inspire people to take action. As long as they’re not acting from a place of ego preservation or “saving face”, the motive behind the action – even if it’s anger – is likely to be aligned with their Higher Self.
The energy of this 2026 Aries New Moon will be most strongly felt from Tuesday 14th through Monday 20th April 2026. These seven days are the sweet spot for using the present manifestations of intentions past to help you set clear, bold, and powerful new intentions for your future self and life.
The strength of the 2026 Aries Stellium will ease as the Moon moves into Taurus 14 hours after the New Moon’s max phase on 17th April, and the Sun moves into Taurus on 19th April. However, Pallas Athena will move into Aries on 26th April, revealing patterns and strategies for action and bringing the Aries occupancy back to a count of seven celestial bodies until Mercury leaves the sign on 2nd May.
