It’s a Water Grand Trine for the second time during this 2013 Cancer Sun Cycle. Today’s event, which “exacts” between 10:31a and 5;14p PDT on July 17th, 2013, includes Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune Retrograde.
And as we are still experiencing the effects of this one, the third of the three Water Grand Trines of the 2013 Cancer Sun Cycle comes into play as Mars joins Jupiter in the configuration “exacting” between 12:42p and 2:34p PDT on July 20th.
Let’s focus on the components of these two Water Grand Trines for a moment.
Saturn in Scorpio returned to direct motion on July 7th, so that is one big difference for these two grand trines since the first back on June 26th. Under Saturn Retrograde, you were asked to take responsibility for your deepest emotional truths and the retrograde afforded you an opportunity to do this work inwardly and on your terms. Now with Saturn Direct, you’ll more likely have challenges to your goals and ambitions coming to you from the outside that force you to deal with these matters of power and influence, pushing you to take responsibility for how you choose to express your emotional truth in the outside world. Saturn Direct in Scorpio encourages you to transform the foundations of your personal power and influence, with the challenges calling upon you to go into your emotional and spiritual darkness to bring Light to your real truth and express it out in the world.
Neptune in Pisces, however, is still in retrograde motion, bringing its visionary idealism to the party yet doing so in ways that draw you within yourself to get in touch with your deepest dreams and fantasies. That said, under inspired, imaginative and creative Neptune Retrograde in Pisces, self-delusion and self-deception are also highlighted now – both your submission to it and your awakening to it. It is important for you to recognize where you may have martyred yourself and your dreams and goals for someone else’s or for the collective whole, yet it is equally important for you to make sure we don’t impose your fantastic idealism onto others or onto the Oneness, either.
As I mentioned in previous posts, it’s good that such a dreamy, romantic Neptune is trine with such an intense Saturn right now – these two can help keep each other in check. Yet with Jupiter – the planet of growth and expansion – added to the mix, emotional and spiritual challenges may grow to a point where they can no longer be ignored and must be handled.
Jupiter is about positive growth and expansion, and in the sign of Cancer, this is growth and expansion through care and nurturing or possibly even the expansion of caring, nurturing, or protective energy itself. The big question is: What is Jupiter in Cancer nurturing, caring for, and/or protecting?
There are quite a few uprisings in the world right now, and most of them are rooted in misinformation or a lack of necessary information, communication, resources, and/or actions. These conflicts are focused on how those fundamental shortcomings have affected peoples’ abilities to take care of, nurture, and protect themselves and their loved ones. Ultimately, they are about human rights and standards of living.
If you notice, many of the current demonstrations and rebellions around the world are being fueled by people within these conflicted countries voicing their claim to what they have a fundamental right to have as human beings. Whether it is for food, shelter, health care, information, and/or personal privacy and freedom, people are standing up for themselves as they begin to realize that they haven’t been living their dreams, but the dreams of people in positions of power and influence.
Even in your personal life, you may notice that you have a growing need to change or release systems, structures, or connections that have been in place in your life for a while. As you place your personal emotional interests at the top of your agenda, the people and things you are most emotionally invested in are likely at the forefront of your mind. This may have you assessing the components of your life to find out what is in alignment with your best emotional and spiritual interests as you ask whose dream(s) you’re actually living – yours, or someone else’s. You may realize that for a long time you’ve been living something that isn’t true to who you are, and you need to figure out if that is going to continue or if you are finally going to go your own way.
And as Mars – the planet of initiative and action – locks into exact aspect with Saturn and Neptune Retrograde on the 20th, you may find that taking actions to free yourself from the dreams and visions of others becomes the order of the day.
This growth of awareness and shift in activity won’t only be occurring in your personal life. On the world stage, we may find that more actions are also being taken on a larger scale to allow people to be seen, heard, and make their power and influence known. With Neptune Retrograde in Pisces, this isn’t just about one person – it’s about the Oneness of All-That-Is. There is a collective internal awakening occurring, and it is really getting to the heart of matters emotionally and spiritually for everyone and everything. People are realizing that in order for them to continue to grow and evolve, their lives and the world around them needs to change.
The great thing is that people are taking a stand to make or at least initiate these changes. Though the awakening is happening within each person one by one, as they awaken, they find others who are also awakening and standing to have their voices heard and their hearts and souls known.
I will be writing more on this specific subject over the next couple of weeks. The feature article in the upcoming Life By Soul E-Zine for Leo 2013 will definitely go into more depth, especially as another major and rare transit configuration involving these four planets is coming up.
In the meantime, during these Water Grand Trines of Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune and Mars-Saturn-Neptune, take time to consider whose dream you are living right now, and how can you make a stand to claim your dreams.
Thank you for reading and sharing Signs and Numbers. Until next post…
