Are you feeling lucky?
With Venus entering the sign of Sagittarius at 10:54a PDT today, October 7th, 2013, the next few weeks may be a good time for you to take some chances. Especially in regard to one-on-one relationships of all kinds, now could be a good time for you to see what can happen when you try something new.
We are experiencing a heavy dousing of water energy right now with 7 astrological bodies and the North Node all in water signs today (4 of the 7 in deep and intense Scorpio energy), so the opportunity Venus in Sagittarius brings to lighten things up some is very welcome. Sagittarian energy is very optimistic and jovial, and wants to share its good vibes with others – it wants to share and expand the love. With Venus travelling through its space, this could be a real and honest feel-good phase for your relationships.
I say “could” making that last statement conditional because for some of you, real and honest may not feel so good at first. The truth can hurt sometimes, and Sagittarius is not only known for being an optimist, but also known for being a truth seeker. That said, Sag understands that even if it doesn’t feel good in the moment, it always feels good in the end. Know that any truths about your relationships or about yourself in relationships that you face and come to terms with now can only be good for you and your ability to relate to/with others in the long run.
This is a time for great adventure when it comes to your connections with others. Stepping out into the great big world, trying something you’ve never tried before or doing something you’ve never done before – the new helps you find your truth. Who are you really? Your experiences and your interactions with others can help you realize your truth fully during Venus in Sagittarius.
Venus in Sagittarius is also a great time for beautifying your environment, but not just in any old way. You get to redecorate your spaces with the fruits of the truth of your life. Use items you find on your adventures or pictures you have taken during your travels. By using your home to document your life’s journey, you bring truth into your surroundings. The more you experience out in the world, the more you recognize what rings true for you. Strengthen or reinforce your inner truth by surrounding yourself with it on the outside. If it’s not your usual mode of operation to put your True self on display, it may serve you well now – better than you think. Take small steps at first, then it’ll become easier to take bigger ones…unless you’re one of those people who jumps into things whole hog in which case, by all means, jump on in!
And if you’re concerned about painful life experiences, think about the positive lessons those experiences have given you. Everything (yes, everything!) has a positive and a negative, so choose the positive. That’s where the personal growth and expansion happen! Find things that express those positive lessons. Think of putting your truth on display as a way to show how you’ve grown in a good way. Focus on the positives may be exactly what you need to bring yourself and your relationships of all kinds into balance.
The questions I’ll leave you with for this Venus in Sagittarius phase are:
- Do you feel like your life circumstances and situations reflect who you truly are on the inside? If not, are you willing to try something(s) new to find your genuine truth and bring your life into balance?
- Does everything and everyone that surrounds you align with your inner truth and the truth you have found through your life experiences?
- Does your environment and do your companions within them reflect the fruit (the positives) of your true-life experiences? Do they reflect the positive aspects and/or positive results of those experiences?
Use these questions to guide you through this next few weeks. Through answering them, you may find that not only do you find your own True self, you may also find the people (or person) you truly want to share yourself and your life with.
Venus will be in the sign of Sagittarius until November 5th, 2013.
