Our current round of Uranus in Gemini first occurred on 7th July 2025, moving back into Taurus on 9th November 2025. Now, Uranus in Gemini makes its second ingress into the sign at 5:51p PDT on 25th April 2026, and it will be traveling through the sign for the next 6.5 years, now through 2nd/3rd Aug 2032.
Uranus rules both humanity and technology. Gemini is associated with communication, ideas, and learning with a child-like curiosity. Together, this is quite a pair.
Under this influence, exchanges of ideas and information aren’t simply between individuals. This is the mass communication of ideas and information through broadcast channels; print, audio, and visual media; and the internet. This shift in focus began in July 2025, but has gained traction very quickly over the last nine months, to a point where we’re now seeing its effects and its potential impact for better and worse.
Uranus in Gemini will not only affect how we communicate with each other, but what is communicated to us through media and education systems. Information could be truthful in efforts to educate and/or protect communities, societies, nations, & the global population to the benefit of all. However, information could also be falsified and/or curated for the purpose of redirecting or misleading the masses in order to benefit a select few (a.k.a. word play and propaganda messaging).
Yet one of the greatest challenges with this placement may come through the efforts to reconcile technology with humanity. Some are looking at tech and humanity as an either-or situation, but the two can be brought together in ways which could evolve humanity for its betterment, but only if we truly seek to empower and evolve humanity to its highest good.
The other major challenge of our current Uranus in Gemini position is its generational impact.
This particular Uranus in Gemini ingress also marks the end of a generational cusp period, making this the hard-line beginning of a new generational group currently being referred to as “Generation Beta”. Generation Beta will be coming in now through 2040. However, what makes this particularly significant in that the last time Uranus entered Gemini, it was a generational marker for the early members of “the Baby Boom generation”. This is especially important to note in regard to our current conditions regarding education, geopolitics, and multinational corporations.
For the Boomers, “work smarter, not harder” was their Uranus in Gemini mantra. Many of these people despised (or at least deeply resented) blue-collar, working-class lifestyles. Though they were provided for by that blue-collar work, and though many of them were coming of age during the societally turbulent times of the 1960s and 1970s, many Boomers – especially the early Boomers (born 1941-1948) sought to educate themselves to be white-collar workers. They wanted to be the managers and executives, the professors and administrators, and the public communicators of their generation, or to work very closely with them. With their Neptune in Libra and Pluto in Leo, the Boomers were determined to establish and maintain what would be fair and peaceful in their minds, and wanted to make sure they were acknowledged as the best generation of humanity ever.
However, the Boomers measure(d) their success in both material and social terms – the material influence from their parents and grandparents while the social was all their own priority. They believe(d) their worth was proven through and reflected in their acquisition of money and luxury items, and by being in position to control the information and keep the spotlight on themselves through an obsession with becoming celebrities in a carefully-curated celebrity culture. The bigger and/or more expensive or glamorous, the more knowledgeable sounding and/or louder, the better.
It could be argued that the Boomers took their intentions a bit too far. Not only did they start the “higher learning is essential” belief for over 50 years, they also started to profit from education in ways that had never been done before. In fact, the Boomers figured out how to profit from just about everything, bringing capitalism to its apex… and now in 2026, as we may be reaching the maximization of that system, possibly, to its downfall.
Under Uranus in Taurus, we experienced a period in which we had to face the consequences of our materialism. Now, with our return to Uranus in Gemini with Neptune and Pluto in the opposite signs as the Boomers, we now face the consequences of the Boomers’ beliefs and their communications of them, as we enter a new generational period and a new period in which the members of the already-born younger generations are now going to attempt to mitigate if not reverse much of what has been done over the last 85 years.
Of course, when the Boomers were being born, the world was in the last years of World War II – a war in which fascism came to a gradual and powerful rise, then had a very hard and rapid fall. Now, as Generation Beta is entering the world, we are on the cusp of another global crisis created by another group trying to claim power through fascist and/or oligarchal means with a similar mindset and social agenda as the group defeated in the 1940s. Those trying to assume global power now are trying to do so through means which the past didn’t have in the form it exists now – computer technology. The rise of the machines is real, and at its controls are an “elite” few who are determined to succeed in their efforts to dominate the world and use what remains of humanity as they see fit. The question is, will the younger generations succeed in defeating our current global enemies, or will they succumb to an agenda that will be extremely difficult if not nearly impossible to overcome? With artificial intelligence, constant human surveillance, digital currency, biological weapons, and more in both development and use, the challenges are and will continue to be immense; but if any group(s) can overcome these challenges, it’ll be the members of Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and Gen Beta.
With the Generation Beta period’s Neptune in Aries, the determination to fight is there. In fact, it’s likely to be both a physical and intellectual war led by Gen Z with the fervent support of about half of Gen X, most Millennials/Gen Y, Gen Alpha, and Gen Beta when they start coming of age (if not sooner). It won’t just be what is used to fight, but how it is used to fight, both in action and strategy. It will also be a technological war, with new weapons that use technologies never used before, and tools for communication that will be sued for getting both legitimate information and propaganda out into the world – tools that far surpass anything that existed in the 1930s and 1940s, but may also result in a return back to those earlier means as a counter to today’s technologies. We may also notice that the strength and integrity of educational, business, and governmental systems and institutions is also being severely compromised, yet institutional education could be replaced with the wisdom of first-hand experience through direct action.
And with this Generation Beta period’s Pluto in Aquarius, there is a collective desire to transform our social and societal systems in ways which benefit all of humanity, not just a few; and to do so in ways which celebrate the uniqueness of individuals contributing to a common goal rather than individuals being put on celebrity pedestals (a.k.a. – the death of celebrity culture, and the emergence of individuals using their public platforms for collective benefit). With the Beta Generation coming in over the next 14 years, then coming of age after that, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Beta Generation’s mantra ends up being “work smarter and harder” as they’ll have a lot more world to change than their great-grandparents.
The irony of Generation Beta having the same Uranus signatures as the Baby Boom Generation is that the Betas are coming in to replace the Boomers. As the Boomers face their sunset, the Beta’s Sun is rising. This isn’t by accident, but rather, the natural order of things – a natural order the Boomers have fought for decades and are still trying to fight, with many of them refusing to leave the world in the hands of the Crisis Generation (1956-1970) and Generation X (1968-1984). But as a collective, the Boomers haven’t gotten the flowers they’ve been waiting for, probably because their generation has, unfortunately, left more damage to the world than healing. Their egos have been boundless, and have proven to be destructive to the peace and fairness they’ve claimed to have wanted. Though current actions and behaviors are largely influenced by cultural norms in various parts of the world, it’s easy to see which regions of the world are profit and power-driven, and which one are culture and community-driven. NOTE: Presidents Trump (U.S.), Netanyahu (Israel), Pezeshkian (Iran), Xi (China), and Putin (Russia) are all Boomers. Iran’s current Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khameni, is late Crisis Gen on cusp with Gen X. That all said, it’ll be interesting to see which approach proves successful in the end.
