In the wake of the Libra Full Moon-Lunar Eclipse on Saturday, 4th April, things may seem somewhat calm. Yet there’s no denying that in the big picture of things, matters are anything but. There’s a lot of Aries energy in play through conjunctions this upcoming week, and a few other transits to keep things interesting if not build some tension. Let’s get to it to see what we may be in for this week.
There’s no significant transits exact on Sunday, 5th April, so our week begins with quite a few opinions being voiced as Aries Mercury trines Leo Jupiter Retrograde on Monday 6th April. When Jupiter is retrograde, incentives for growth and expansion often come to you from the outside-in, so you may notice that with this influence in Leo – the sign of brilliant self-expression and desire for individual acknowledgment – there are quite a few people who have opinions about you and your expression of Light, likely encouraging you to grow and expand. You may have a lot to say to them now or a lot to do in response to their recommendations. With Mercury – the planet of intellect and communication being in Aries – the sign of initiative action, what you say and/or do makes it very clear where you stand on these matters in and around your life. In fact, you may have quite a few opinions about their self-expressions as well. Though most exact at 6:26a PDT on Monday 6th April, the effects of this Mercury-Jupiter Rx transit will be felt from early Sunday 4th April through late Tuesday 7th April.
The Aries Sun conjuncts Uranus in Aries to bring some unexpected revelations. This transit is most exact at 7:08a PDT on Monday 6th April, but is felt early Saturday 3rd April through late Thursday 9th April. Being the planet of unique expressions of self within a collaborative effort in Aries, Uranus can have rather unpredictable and unconventional approaches to taking action when in Aries. This often shows up as a rebellious energy, committed to being a presence of change or innovation when the status quo seems to be encroaching on individual freedoms. The Sun shines its light to reveal all that attempts to be hidden, so you may find yourself gaining some new insights and shifting your perspectives about which technology serves you best in staying connected to the world around you and/or how you want (or don’t want) to express yourself through social media.
Saturn in Sagittarius is currently retrograde and has every intention of keeping you in alignment with anything and everything that moves you further into alignment with your True self and toward the fulfillment of your Highest good. When Sagittarius Saturn Retrograde quincunxes Taurus Mars, you may notice that some of your intended actions are being blocked or delayed. This is intended to remind you that just because what you’re trying to do is in alignment with what you want doesn’t mean it it’s in alignment with your True life purpose. This is the case even if that’s not the point of the action you’re trying to take! This transit reminds us that everything and everyone is interconnected in some way, and actions that we may think are insignificant or unrelated are often more significant and related to the purpose of our life’s journey than we may believe. Pay attention to what you’re able to do and what is being delayed or held back – chances are you’re trying to set something up that isn’t aligned with your best self and the Universe is trying to direct you to a different path that is more aligned with who you truly are. This quincunx transit is most exact at 11:17a PDT on Monday 6th April, but it is felt late Thursday 2nd April through mid-day Saturday 11th April.
Aries Mercury makes its presence known again as it squares Capricorn Pluto, most exact at 5:20a on Tuesday 7th April, but felt mid-day Monday 6th April through mid-day Thursday 9th April. This transit may have your communications instigating actions that help you collapse long-standing institutions or societal standards which no longer serve you well. You may not have that intention for your words as you’re speaking or writing them, but that doesn’t make their impact any less on the parties who receive them. In fact, the impulsiveness of your communication(s) may actually make the impact more powerful as you and the receiving parties may not have been aware of how much you’ve desired the changes you call for. Whatever is communicated has transformative power under the influence of this transit.
About 12 hours later, it’s Mercury’s turn to conjunct Uranus in Aries, and the words you spoke under the energy of the Mercury-Pluto square may make their impact known now in surprising ways. Most exact at 5:20a PDT on Wednesday 8th April but felt morning Monday 6th April through mid-day Thursday 9th April, you may not have even expected a response to what you said hours or minutes before, but you are likely to get one from someone or something that you couldn’t even imagine it coming from. Depending on the tone of your communication, this could be a simple acknowledgement of your statement or opinion that gets something started OR they could have been seen as “fighting words” which prove to instigate quite a conflict between the parties involved. Time will tell if this is a modest beginning in a new direction or the lighting of an explosive.
Jupiter turns direct in Leo at 9:58a PDT on Wednesday, 8th April, encouraging you to grow into and/or expand your self-expression. The words and opinions of others from the Mercury-Jupiter Retrograde trine earlier in the week may be the catalysts for your growth and expansion that begins under the power of this shift.
The Sun and Mercury finally conjunct in Aries on Thursday 9th April, most exact at 9:00p PDT, but felt from early Tuesday 7th April through late Sunday 12th April. If there’s any ideas and words that you’ve been thinking about communicating or acting upon, now’s the time to get them out there with the intention of getting something(s) started. Sparks will fly for better or worse, but the only way to find out which one you get is to take the initiative.
Last but not least for the week, Venus enters Gemini at 8:28a PDT on Saturday 11th April. Gemini is the child’s energy of the Zodiac, and is playful and inquisitive. You may find yourself asking potential or existing partners a lot of questions, and they may have quite a few questions for you. Since Gemini is an air sign, there is a lot of intellectual energy present in partnerships as well. Much of the dialogue is intended to feel out each other’s intellectual capacities, and any games that may be being played between you aren’t just for fun – they’re probably (or more likely) for assessment. As Venus moves through Gemini, you may notice that you may be dealing with mind games more than playful charm. Make sure you discern which is which through clear and direct communication which is easier said than done under Venus in Gemini.
